In response to several queries from family and friends regarding these two candidates, I have had a long conversation with Marilyn Parker this morning who sits on the board of the Louisville Grassroots T.E.A. party. Ms. Parker has attended most of the events where the 3rd Congressional candidates have appeared and debated; the most recent, last night at John E’s Restaurant. Some may remember Ms. Parker who spoke so eloquently at the first TEA party rally in 2009 addressing herself as “the mom without a teleprompter” and no one knows the issues or can articulate them better than she can – except Larry Hausman! She told me that this morning.
In debate, Larry Hausman consistently takes each issue back to the Constitution and addresses them with knowledge and passion for conservative values such as lower taxes, less government, pro-military, pro-life, and pro-traditional family values. Last night, some came in as supporters of Todd Lally but left openly supporting Larry Hausman. Because? Because he addressed their concerns with answers on how to get our country moving in the right direction again. He adamantly opposes Obama’s radical takeover of our healthcare system and will work to repeal it. This along with working to lessen Obama’s growing tax burden on Americans, supporting strict border control, and growing our economy again.
In contrast, Todd Lally, has a wonderful military career for which we are all grateful for but he is a late-comer to the T.E.A. party movement and cannot debate the issues. In short, he is a one-dimensional candidate. Also, Lally told Mandy Connell during her radio show this week, “I intend to work across the aisle…” if elected. I don’t know about anyone else, but that is a deal-killer for me. I have had enough RINO’s walking across the aisle and selling us down the river!!!
Hausman has been with the Louisville T.E.A. party movement since the beginning, and 7 out of the 8 board members support Hausman. Hausman remains committed to the group and its members showing a passion and dignity rarely seen in the political arena.
In short, Hausman is:
1) 100% a constitutionalist
2) 100% pro-life
3) 100% pro-military
4) 100% pro-less taxes
5) 100% pro-less government
6) 100% pro-traditional family values
7) 100% committed to listening to his constituents!
This is my educated opinion between these two candidates. I have already given my opinion of the pompous, self-serving Reetz and would NOT believe nor vote for him in any way, shape or form. On Tuesday, I will be voting for Larry Hausman.
